Subject Recruitment

Our clinical research coordinators collaborate as necessary with Principal Investigators to recruit subjects or specific patient populations. Coordinators work closely with the study team, contact and schedule targeted candidates after protocol review, maintain patient contact and follow up, and build and develop patient relationships.

We employ a diverse array of recruitment techniques. Each study start-up includes a customized recruitment plan. Recruitment materials may include written flyers, brochures, pamphlets, newspaper ads, electronic bulletin board notices, web-based materials, e-mail messages, letters to referring practitioners, as well as radio and television advertisements. Weekly recruitment updates for all Bluestone-supported investigations are prepared and analyzed to track subject recruitment and retention.
